spiritualinspiration:

” The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each morning” (Lamentations 3:22-23, NLT).
Isn’t it good to know that no matter what happened yesterday, no matter what you said, no matter what you did, God’s mercy is new for you today? Mercy is empowering. It frees us to make the right choices and live in a way that is pleasing to God. We have to always remember that God is not condemning us. Romans tells us that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ. God wants to love us and equip us to overcome in this life.
Do you need new mercy today? Receive it by faith. You don’t have to beg God to forgive you. He forgives you the first time you ask, but it’s up to you to receive that forgiveness. Open your heart today and receive His mercy. Let Him wash over you with His peace and joy. Then choose to extend that mercy to others. Remember, you are God’s representative in the earth. As you show His love and character to others, He’ll pour out His blessing upon you and use you in ways you never dreamed!

Painting with food

Artist Hong Yi decided to play with her food 30 days and make illustrations and paintings with it. She made two rules, the image had to be made of food only and the backdrop would always be a white plate.

What she ended up with were painting and illustrations of landscapes, animals, the story of the three little pigs and a even a portrait of Justin Bieber.

The project is still ongoing. if you want to see Hong Yi’s latests creations then head over to her Facebook page.

“He longs to have you reach after Him by faith. He longs to have you expect great things from Him”

Man…I saw this first on facebook..and I had to share it, because it describes my  life exactly.  I just realized that this school year was the one with least suicidal thoughts since 4th grade.  That’s why it was so amazing! Before, I just thought it would all be easier if I weren’t here, but this year, God revealed that He has specific plans for little ol’ me.  I mean..it’s just so breath-taking to realize that the Creator of the sun, moon, stars, the Milkyway, and many other galaxies..the Maker of all mankind thinks especially about me.  Like…I honestly still don’t fully comprehend it..but I accept it.  He showed me how much He was thinking about all of us, from the very beginning…from Eden…from the moment Jesus decided to go on that great mission to save humanity…from Gethsemane when He could have quit, but His great LOVE for us propelled Him to push on…when our hateful race betrayed Him, mocked Him, spat on Him…and yet for our sake, for our chance have the opportunity to be in God’s presence FOREVER…He suffered.  He bore our sin.  The One who was one with the Father since before our beginning, suffered, above all things, separation from His beloved Father…all you…all for me.   All this made me realize that I’m here for a reason..God has a specific purpose for my life & great things are in store if I just hold on to Him.  I don’t have to be strong…He’ll do that for me.

Sometimes God places people in your life to make you a better person.  At times these people’s awesomeness influences you to become more awesome yourself.  Other times, those people do things that simply annoy you…they make you want to run away, never to return…they make you want to end the friendships…but what if the purpose of such relationships is personal growth?  What if the result of these relationships can be a better ability to relate to all kinds of people?   What if underneath the apparent grime covering the surface of these friendships lie beautiful treasures?
